Since 15 years I’m traveling and guiding photography tours in Iceland. Although I am Swiss, my heart and soul live in Iceland. At the age of 18 I hiked alone through the Icelandic highlands for almost 3 weeks. Since then I go to this magical place several times a year. A year without Iceland is a lost year. But Iceland has changed a lot within the last years – not least because of photographers and filmmakers like me, who are still getting more people to travel to this little country.
Many tourists in Iceland take no account of this fragile nature. They walk over the moss, let the engine run everywhere, leave their waste lying around, …
But far from the Golden Cyrcle there is still a huge wealth of beauties that are deserted and untouched. Let us take care of this unique country. […]

Related Blog Post Here. Filmed on the DJI Inspire 2 Drone this video features unseen footage coupled with familiar scenes but different time stamps. The idea here was to utilise all of my unused New Zealand footage and cut to some cinematic music. I thought I’d have an hours worth but turns out once cut to the music it’s only around 25-30 minutes without becoming too boring. This video is dedicated to Brian Bloss and who went from us way too soon.
Enjoy these impressions of the total solar eclipse of July 2nd 2019, as seen from the mountains of the southern tip of the Atacama region, Chile.
It was technically very challenging as we were handling 7 cameras in total. Still, seeing this with your own eyes was impressive and is certainly challenging your perception.
